My Background
Hi! My name is MaKenzie Yoder, and I am a junior at Black Hills State University pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing. I am originally from Lawrence, Kansas, and before transferring to BHSU, I spent two years at Johnson County Community College studying business and marketing. While at JCCC, I completed a variety of business-related projects that allowed me to explore different areas of business while developing skills in marketing, communication, and business strategy.
My Education & Career Goals
I have always been interested in business, especially the financial and creative sides of it. As I continue my education, I have become more interested in marketing, entrepreneurship, and the idea of eventually building something of my own one day. After graduation, I hope to begin working toward creating my own business and using the knowledge and experiences that I have gained throughout my college experience to turn my ideas into something big.
Interest in Digital Marketing
I am interested in digital marketing because it combines creativity with business strategy. Through this course, I am developing skills in website design, analytics, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. I enjoy learning how businesses can use digital platforms to build their brands and connect with customers.
Skills & Looking Ahead
My experiences in college have helped me develop strengths in communication, creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. I am excited to continue gaining experience in business and marketing while working toward my long-term goal of becoming an entrepreneur.
